Assistant Store Manager at Charles Tyrwhitt

Charles Tyrwhitt are on the lookout for an Assistant Manager to join Sinead and the team in our store in centre:mk!

The contract available is 40 hours per week. Candidates must be flexible to work – this includes early or late shifts, weekends and Bank Holidays in line with the centre’s trading requirements.

What you will be doing

The Assistant Manager plays a vital role in driving store success by exceeding sales targets, hitting KPI goals, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Leading and collaborating with the sales team, you’ll coach top performance and foster a high-energy, results-driven environment. You’ll also build strong customer relationships, manage appointments (including corporate and wedding parties), and work closely with the Store Manager to address feedback and continuously improve the store experience.

The Assistant Manager will train the team on CT’s Selling Skills model and Customer Service standards, leveraging tools like commercial reports, VM directives, and the Tyrwhitt Academy to boost performance. By fostering a positive, professional store culture, they'll ensure a solution-driven approach that benefits both the sales team and customers.

Aside from these responsibilities, this role will support the Store Manager in all commercial and operational reporting, operational and stock responsibilities, managing and minimising controllable costs, staff recruitment and retention, colleague engagement and HR, Health and Safety, and compliance.

 What we are looking for

This role specifically requires:

• Retail management experience
• Proven leadership and coaching skills
• Strong commercial and analytical abilities
• Experience in stock management and loss prevention
• Proficiency in systems and Microsoft Office
